There are a number of organisations that offer training to ABET practitioners.

Independent Examinations Board (IEB)
The IEB offers a number of courses for both Assessors and moderators. They also offer ABET workshops.

The Fundamentals Training Centre
The Fundamentals Training Centre provide quality needs-based learning programmes that are geared towards
helping participants achieve their professional and career goals. They offer  SAQA accredited courses for the training of educators and practitioners.

SAStudy – ABET practice NQF 5
This qualification is for part-time ABET educators (who usually work in state or NGO ‘night centres’) may wish to complete either the National Certificate or Higher Certificate in ABET Practice, depending on whether they already have a FETC or not.

Richfield – National Certificate in ABET Practice (NQF 5)
Richfield Graduate Institute of Technology, commenced operations in 1998 as a Computer Training Centre and has since grown to be one of the largest Private Education providers in South Africa. The Institution is accredited by the Council on Higher Education (CHE), Umalusi, the Quality Council on Trades and Occupations (QCTO) and numerous SETAs.
